Company background:
Drukhshan-e-Balkh Poultry Co is a privet invested poultry company which is registered with Ministry of Agriculture & AISA under registration number D-01-514. In part of our mandate for enlargement and providing opportunity of poultry business and based on studies of last year training’s and its impact for poultry at community level, herewith we designed a package of 3 days training for those organization which works for women’s economic initiatives and income generation at village poultry farming level.
About the course:
The training will be focused on Poultry Management; poultry grope working mechanism (poultry comparatives) chicken house management, feeding and poultry food making structures, incubator management and Marketing. The training will also provide vital refresher opportunity in getting acquaint with further new poultry technical measures, its common diseases common in the community along with preventive and curative measures.
Objective:
- To transfer technical and practical knowledge on Poultry Management
- Introduction on chicken house management and poultry as food security
- Introduction of poultry as income generation and grope working mechanism (the methods for creation of Economical Interest Gropes for batter income generation activities).
- Familiarization with various communal poultry diseases at the village level and its symptoms
- Incubator Management (full introduction of operating an incubator)
- Introduction on BVWP (Basic Veterinary Worker for Poultry) to the participants
- Market (information about basic steps of doing business, money and investments, business planning, benefits, production and incomes, how to sell etc).
- Feeding and feed production including local mechanism of providing chicken feeds on house to house level.
Methodology:
The training will focus on more practical approach and issues that could be sustain in the community. The training session will be provided with more appropriate technology, knowledge, attitude and practices on poultry farming through experience sharing and participatory adult learning procedures. However few lecture methods will also be applied to give the participants on thematic poultry sub-topics. Overall the training will be facilitated through these methodologies:
